01 — Overview

What it is

Codespect AI needed a website that could sell an enterprise-grade platform without feeling like one. I helped develop the site from the ground up — a fast, polished Next.js build that walks prospects from the hero through features, social proof, and a clear call to action, all without a single page reload feeling heavy.

02 — Problem

Why it was hard

SpectCRM packs CRM, VoIP telephony, omnichannel contact center, sales pipeline, service desk, and AI analytics into one product. The challenge was presenting all of that on a single site without overwhelming visitors or burying the things that matter most — the demo CTA and the core value prop.

03 — Research

What we learned first

Looked at how the best SaaS platforms present density: Intercom, Linear, Vercel. The pattern that worked was a tight hero with one clear sentence, then modular feature cards that let people self-select what they care about. Metrics up front, details on demand.

04 — Architecture

How it's built

A Next.js application with React driving the component layer and Tailwind CSS handling the design system. The site is server-rendered for SEO and speed, with client-side transitions keeping navigation instant. Every section is its own component — hero, feature grid, metrics bar, social proof, CTA — so the page reads like a story but ships like a design system.

06 — Features

What shipped

  • Server-rendered Next.js for speed and SEO
  • Modular component architecture for each product pillar
  • Responsive, mobile-first layout with Tailwind CSS
  • Metrics bar with live platform stats
  • Conversion-optimized flow from hero to demo CTA
07 — Challenges

Where it fought back

01

Selling complexity simply

Six product pillars — CRM, VoIP, contact center, sales pipeline, service desk, AI analytics — had to land in seconds, not paragraphs. Modular feature cards with progressive disclosure kept the page scannable.

02

Performance at first impression

A SaaS landing page that loads slowly undermines its own pitch. Server rendering, optimized assets, and minimal client JavaScript keep the site feeling instant.

03

Conversion-driven design

Every scroll position had to earn its keep. The layout funnels attention from the value prop through proof points to the demo form, with no dead zones in between.

What I'd tell you over coffee

A good product site doesn't list features — it tells a story that ends with a click. The hardest part wasn't building the page; it was deciding what not to say on it.
